Obituary of June L. Kruty

June L. Kruty, 85 of Boonton, NJ passed away on July 4, 2016. A memorial visitation will be held at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton, NJ on Saturday, July 16th from 1-4 PM. Born in Scranton, PA, June moved to Parsippany, NJ before residing in Boonton for the past 33 years. Completing training in Scranton, June became a registered nurse early in life. After raising her own children, she became involved with local families becoming a beloved, nurturing caregiver for their dear children. June was a gifted artist and painter, a beautiful singer and performed Russian dance. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking; her coleslaw and rice pudding being most noteworthy. Always a reader and writer, June had extraordinary penmanship and loved reading about true life crime investigations. June is survived by her daughter Diane Hunt and her husband Robert; son Frank Kruty and his wife Jacqueline; daughter Eileen Becht and her husband Chuck; grandchildren Jacob Kruty, Elizabeth (Beth) Hunt, and Erika Gonzalez; sisters Lillian Banick, Marianne Schaefferkoetter, and Lucille Banick. Also her siblings, were the late Paul Banick and Theresa Petula. She will also be missed by many dear friends and neighbors touched by her kindness.
