Pellegrino (Perry) Donald Troisi, age 90, of Parsippany, NJ passed away peacefully in his home on August 30th, 2025.
Born in October 1934, in Jersey City, NJ, Perry was the son of Mary and James Troisi. After growing up in West New York, NJ, he moved to Secaucus, NJ, where he lived with his family for 55 years. It was in Secaucus where Perry owned and operated Route 3 Exxon for 32 years before semi-retiring.
A second act as a bartender at the Railhead Bar in the Hoboken Train Station offered another 10+ years of work before fully retiring. Retirement offered Perry the freedom to indulge in his grandchildren’s activities and to spend more time with extended family and friends. A big fan of NY area sports, he was an ardent supporter of all the local teams each passing season.
Perry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Troisi; his daughter, Gina Troisi (husband Jimmy); his son, Perry Troisi (wife Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Jake, Maya, and Max. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Sonny.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday, September 5th, 2025, in St. Catherine of Siena R. C. Church, 10 North Pocono Rd., Mountain Lakes, NJ. The mass will be live streamed by St. Catherine's for those unable to attend - please click HERE for the church's website.
