Edelhauser, Elizabeth "Betty" Jane, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Born in Newark, NJ to William and Fredia Foote, Betty has been a longtime resident of Boonton. She was a secretary for the Boonton Board of Education for 20 years before retiring in 1996. She also worked for the Morris County Board of Elections in Boonton Township. Betty was an honorary member of the Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Squad. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard George Edelhauser. Surviving are her devoted daughters, Catherine Riccobono, Carolann Kurceski (Paul) and Diane Binetti (Joe); loving brother, William Foote and sister, Fran Zelluk; cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Gina, Megan, Michael, Rosaria, Richard and Vincent; her feline companion, Abby. Visitation will be at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Tuesday, September 12th from 4-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, 226 Cornelia Street, Boonton on Wednesday, September 13th at 11:00 am. The interment is private.
