Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle & Friend

Michael Robert Wallin, of Mountain Lakes, NJ, passed away at home on Friday, April 21, 2017. He was 32 years old.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Wednesday, April 26 from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church 10 N. Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046 on Thursday, April 27 at 10am. The interment is private. Born in Denville, NJ to Russell and Eileen (Mansfield) Wallin, he was a lifelong resident of Mountain Lakes where he graduated from MLHS in 2003.

After high school he proudly served in the US Coast Guard.

Mike was a skilled carpenter working locally with several contractors. He was a tremendous athlete with a passion for sports – especially lacrosse, basketball & softball – and was an avid Mets fan. Friends and family will always remember him for his kind heart, warm laughter, and infectious personality.

Surviving are his beloved parents, Russell & Eileen; loving siblings, Tommy, Sean, Shannon, Danielle, Nikki; devoted grandmother, Kathleen Mansfield; cherished niece, Maggie, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins & friends who will dearly miss him.
