Obituary of Paul Galusha
Paul Truman Galusha, 70, of Boonton Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
Born in Glen Ridge, NJ to Albert and Marjorie (Hewitt), Paul grew up in the West Essex communities of Essex Fells, North Caldwell and Fairfield. He earned degrees in education from University of Vermont (BA) and Seton Hall University (MA).
He retired after 35 years as an educator with the Cedar Grove Board of Education. In addition to his profession he was active in Boonton Township: a former member of the Board of Education, Historical Society, soccer coach and a Pack Leader with the B.S.A.
Paul also enjoyed the outdoors; as a long distance runner, he participated several times in the NY Marathon, or at home working in his vegetable garden.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Pamela (Graef); devoted children, Brian and Matthew with his wife, Amy; dear brother, Richard; loving sisters, Gwen, Berta, Muriel Rice, Louise Welsch and Manetta Maniaci; cherished grandchildren, Nathaniel, Ellie and Collin; also his favorite dog & best friend, Tucker.
