Robert J. Mahoney, 63, of Haskell, NJ, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Chilton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Manhattan, NY to Thomas and Mary Mahoney, Robert lived in the Bronx before moving to Haskell in 1983.
A big animal lover, he was the owner of the Happy Hound K9 Social Club in Pompton Plains, NJ for the past 3 years. He was a proud owner of four dogs, Annie, Rascal, Sophie and Mimi. Nothing gave him more pleasure than spending time with his granddaughters and caring for animals, especially dogs.
He enjoyed a good poker game, fishing, rooting for the Buffalo Bills and the NY Yankees.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Naomi (Schutze); devoted daughter, Dawn Berg; dear friend and son-in-law, David Berg; cherished grandchildren, Jessie and Lexie; loving siblings, Thomas Mahoney, Patricia Spock and Barbara Mahoney; also nieces, nephews and close friends.
With Bob's passing, in lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made in his memory to Friends of Wayne Animals Rescue (FOWA) in Wayne, NJ.
